We understand that planning for the unexpected is important. Our Death Benefits program provides comprehensive financial support to your designated beneficiaries, ensuring their well-being during difficult times.

Benefits Overview

Comprehensive Support

Beneficiaries of a contributing member who passes on will get the following benefits which will be payable as provided in a member's Death Nomination of Beneficiaries form:

  • An insurance lump sum payment equal to three times a member's annual pensionable salary
  • A cash lump sum payment equivalent to the deceased member's accumulated credit at the time of death
  • A last expense amount of KSh. 200,000 payable immediately to cater for funeral expenses

These benefits ensure that your loved ones receive immediate financial support when they need it most, helping them maintain financial stability and manage funeral expenses without additional stress.

Nomination of Beneficiaries

Complete the Form

Members are encouraged to complete the Death Benefits Nomination of Beneficiary Form which provides details of the chosen beneficiaries. This ensures your wishes are clearly documented.

Regularly review and update your nomination form to reflect any changes in your personal circumstances or beneficiary preferences.

Important Note:

The Scheme Trustees will have to take into consideration (but are not bound by) a member's wishes when arranging payment of benefits to beneficiaries. It is therefore crucial to keep your nomination form up-to-date and ensure it clearly reflects your intentions.
